Working for a medium Courier Company as a Transport controller. You must have at least 3 years previous experience working in a similar role for a Courier Company. This position is a very hands on role. Your duties will include overseeing a team of 14 including Drivers and Warehouse, Liaising with drivers on a daily basis, Liaising with customers over the phone and face to face, Logging Jobs, Dispatching jobs to drivers, Maintaining the up keep of the Vehicles IE: Mot's, Repairs and Servicing of the Vehicles, Recruitment of staff for your department, Liaising with management and general customer Services.
